Edmund studied at the Royal Academy of Music and National Opera Studio supported by the Glyndebourne New Generation Programme, and Peter and Helen Blumer.

Operatic roles have included Colline La Bohème for Northern Ireland Opera, Demetrius A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Nevill Holt, Bartolo The Marriage of Figaro and Oberon Fairy Queen at Waterperry, Eddy in Turnage’s Greek at the Arcola Theatre, and Lakai Ariadne auf Naxos for the Glyndebourne Festival.

He is highly involved in new music and created roles in the world premieres of Oliver Leith’s Last Days at the Royal Opera House Linbury Theatre, and Bolton’s Litvinenko at Grange Park Opera. He has also developed new works for the Royal Opera House main stage and Glyndebourne.

On the concert platform, engagements have included Mendelssohn Elijah, Verdi Requiem, Bach St John Passion and St Matthew Passion, Brahms Requiem and Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs at venues such as Cadogan Hall, Trinity College Cambridge, and St John’s Smith Square.
