Lucy was a 2021 Emerging Artist at Longborough Festival Opera, where she played Rooster & Jay in The Cunning Little Vixen, and covered the role of Despina in Cosi fan tutte. Other professional roles have included Norina/Don Pasquale for Burry Port Opera, Zerlina (cover)/Don Giovanni for Longborough Festival Opera, as well as the roles of Olympia, Antonia, and Giulietta in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann at the Arcola Theatre London (Grimeborn Festival).
In 2018, Lucy graduated with Distinction from the Opera Performance Masters at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama; roles here include Pamina/The Magic Flute, Clorinda/La Cenerentola, Nella/Gianni Schicchi (with the orchestra of Welsh National Opera, conducted by Carlo Rizzi), Rose Maurrant/Street Scene, Bubikopf/Der Kaiser von Atlantis, and the title role in Handel’s Semele with Mid Wales Opera. Lucy is the winner the Valetta Iacopi Aria Prize, the Dolan-Evans Memorial Prize, and was the two-time winner of the Seligman Award for Excellence.
On the concert platform, Lucy has performed works such as Dvorak Stabat Mater, Bach St Matthew Passion, Faure, Mozart and Brahms Requiem throughout the UK and internationally, with Leeds Philharmonic, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and with regional choirs and orchestras. Other work also includes assistant directing and outreach work for English National Opera and Welsh National Opera plus numerous smaller companies across the UK, as director for Bute Park Opera, Pocket Opera and as Artistic Director for Scruffy Peacock.
